How Sweet it isn't that most Hampton Roads voters, with the exception of the 1st District, may have shot themselves in the political foot. Now incumbents Norman Sisisky, Robert Scott, Owen Pickett and Charles Robb are in the minority party with all the privileges, or lack of them, that will bring. when decisions are made by committees on which these distinguished men serve ) or served - as to where the money is to be spent, it could very well go to homes of the majority.
Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. But he is a Republican, and you told him to get lost. In spite of the weak incumbents we now have, we can hope that when the presents are distributed, there will still be some with our name on them.
