Nellie McDaniel Pearman, 88, of the 600 block of Chandler Harper Drive, Portsmouth, beloved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, died Nov. 13, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.
She is survived by her son, Richard D. ``Red'' McDaniel; daughter-in-law, Jill McDaniel of Portsmouth; and daughter-in-law, Trudy McDaniel of New York; grandchildren, Nancy EsPosito, Edward Torres, James McDaniel and Christopher McDaniel of New York, Rebecca Lacey of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Angela Holland of Portsmouth. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Mers of Portsmouth and Mrs. Jean Hickey of Girard, Kan.
Mrs. Pearman was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, the Western Branch Senior Citizens and a former member of Fellowship Chapter (NU)140 Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Pearman was born in Grayson, Ky.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Scott M. Rimer in Loving Funeral Home. The family will be at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Chancel Choir Robe Fund of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4320 Bruce Road, Chesapeake, Va. 23321.
