Alvin Ray Dunn Jr., 31, of the 400 block of Saddle Court, died Friday in South Boston, Va.
Mr. Dunn was born in Portsmouth, Va., and was vice president of Supermarket Services Co. Inc., Chesapeake. He was a member of the Elizabeth City Bass Masters Association.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Marie Mills Dunn; his parents, Rosa Harrison and Alvin R. Dunn Sr., all of Chesapeake; one sister, Sandra Dunn Robbins of Ladson, S.C.; his paternal grandmother, Caroline Dunn of Chesapeake; his maternal grandparents, Weyman R. and Lida Marie Garrett, also of Chesapeake, and two nieces and two nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Bryant Cummings. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
