Young Broadcasting Inc. said Monday that it has completed its acquisition of three ABC affiliate television stations from Nationwide Communications Inc. The stations are located in Richmond (WRIC-TV, Channel 8), Knoxville, Tenn. (WATE-TV, Channel 6) and Green Bay, Wis. (WBAY-TV, Channel 2). When added to the two ABC affiliates that Young already owns in Nashville, Tenn. (WKRN-TV, Channel 2) and Albany, N.Y. (WTEN-TV, Channel 10), the acquisition makes the company the sixth-largest owner of ABC affiliates after Capital Cities/ABC Inc. (Staff) by CNB
