Daphney Barr Johnson, 77, of the 1500 block of Colon Ave., died Monday, Nov. 14, 1994, in Norfolk Community Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Norfolk County, which later became the Oakwood section of Norfolk. She was the daughter of Phillip and Ellen Johnson Johnson. She was the widow of William Johnson and formerly attended Mount Gilead Baptist Church.
Survivors include a devoted son, Tyrone M. Barr of the home.
A funeral will be at noon Friday at Riddick Funeral Service. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. and at her residence.
