WILLIAM O. HARRISON JR.

William Owen Harrison Jr., 79, of the 700 block of Bayberry Lane, a retired pier foreman, died Nov. 16, 1994, at his residence.

Mr. Harrison was born in Trenton, N.C., and retired from Norfolk & Western Railroad after more than 35 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Norfolk, Elizabeth Masonic Lodge (NU)34 and the Senior Swingers Club.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Hodges Harrison; a daughter, Sherry Lynn Harrison of Baltimore; two sons, Wilson S. Harrison of Baltimore and Rowland B. Harrison of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Christabelle Artlip of Greenville, S.C. and Edna Moore of Swansboro, N.C.; two brothers, James Harrison of Norfolk and Hargett Harrison of Severna Park, Md.; five grandchildren, Alex Robb of Denver, Rebecca Robb and Gwendolyn Harrison of Baltimore, Christie Harrison and Brent Harrison of Virginia Beach.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Otis Colston. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday and at the residence at all other times.
