MARION E. HOWELL

Marion Ellsworth Howell, 74, of the 26000 block of Sunset Drive, a farmer, died Nov. 15, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Howell was born in Nansemond County, Va. He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church and the Church Choir, former superintendent of the Sunday School, former Trustee, and member of the Church Brotherhood and Adult Bible Class. He was also a member of Windsor Ruritan Club, Purdie Masonic Lodge (NU)170 and Woodmen of the World.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Spivey Howell; three daughters, Gloria H. Price of Charlotte, N.C., Glenda H. Minga and Gina H. Buckner, both of Windsor; two sisters, Lelia H. Mundie of Hampton and Anne H. Pierce of Berryville, Va.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Anna Baker Howell and Mills Abraham Howell, and a brother, Elleanor D. Howell.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Ronald Wiley, the Rev. T.A. Powell and the Rev. Steve Bradshaw. Burial will be in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence.
