Nellie Jones, 84, of the 1000 block of Roseclair St., a homemaker, died Nov. 14, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Jones was born in Southampton County and was the widow of Clyde Jones. She was a member of Calvary Church of God in Christ, Campostella Road, Norfolk, where she served in the Missionary Ministry and was Mother of the Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Florence Geneva Williams and Isabell Roscoe, both of Norfolk; four sons, Clyde Jones, Arthur Lee Jones, Elijah Jones and Calvin Jones, all of Baltimore; 34 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Bibleway Holiness Apostolic Church, 2520 Dexter St., Chesapeake, by Bishop William J. Faison. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 1008 Roseclair St., Norfolk, at noon Friday for the funeral processional to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
