Bernice Davis Long, 84, formerly of Jackson, died Nov. 17, 1994 in a Franklin, Va. nursing home.
Mrs. Long was born in Northampton County, N.C., and retired from the Northampton Public Library. She was a member of Jackson Baptist Church and was the wife of the late Willie E. Long. She was the daughter of the late Edgar C. Davis and Mida Lewter Davis.
Survivors include a sister, Winifred D. Vick of East Pavillion, Franklin, Va., formerly of Conway, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Jackson Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe McLean. Burial will follow in Conway Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jackson Funeral Home 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial contribtuions may be made to the Jackson Baptist Church Building Fund.
