James Clarence Scott, 56, of Bridgeport, son of the late O'Dell and Israel Scott Sr., and husband of Jenise Scott, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1994, in his home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Jenise, Francine, Pamela and Beverly Scott and two sons, James Jr. and Phillip Scott, all of Bridgeport; five sisters, Theresa Holliman, Gloria Adams and Shirley Boone of Suffolk, Va., Annie Mae Murry of Portsmouth, Va., and Lois Robinson of Syracuse, N.Y.; two brothers, Israel Jr. and Charles Scott of Portsmouth; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, by Dr. John H. Kindred. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will assemble at the home of Mrs. Theresa Holliman, 1228 Lake Kennedy Drive, Suffolk.
