WILLIAM VAUGHAN

William Vaughan, 77, of the 1900 block of Prentis Ave., died Nov. 15, 1994.

Mr. Vaughan was the widower of Hilda Vaughan and a member of St. John Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include three daughters, Edna Mae Miles, Shirley Mae Beale and Peggy Thompson; three sons, the Rev. William Vaughan, Shelton Gordon and Henry Blowe; two sisters, Nellie V. Gilliam and Rockey Lou Fenderson; three brothers, Levi Vaughan, Thomas Vaughan and Raymond Vaughan; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Fisher Funeral Home by the Rev. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at the residence of his sister, Nellie V. Gilliam, 1111 Warfield Drive, Portsmouth.
