Helen Augusta Sawyer, 61, of the 900 block of Duke of Suffolk Drive, a homemaker, died Nov. 18, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Sawyer was born in Baltimore. She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church and the church choir.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald L. Sawyer Sr.; a daughter, Donna M. Brinegar of Chesapeake; three sons, Ronald L. Sawyer Jr. of Germany, Raymond L. Sawyer and Stephen J. Sawyer, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mary Zitzelberger of Boca Raton, Fla.; a brother, Le Roy Kircher of Miami and a stepbrother, Frank Kircher of Baltimore; and six grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Michael Lutheran Church by the Rev. Peter Stiller. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at the church on Sunday prior to the funeral at 2 p.m. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
