Neil Michael Sherry, 49, of Virginia Beach, died Nov. 18, 1994, in his residence after a long illness.
Neil was a designer with Coronet Group Inc. for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Sherry. He was a native of New York City and a member of Ohef Sholom Temple in Norfolk. Neil was a graduate of Granby High School, attended Old Dominion University and was a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York.
Survivors include his father, David Sherry; a sister, Lynn S. Evans; a brother-in-law, John M. Evans; and two nephews, Noel A. Evans and Jamie P. Evans, all of Norfolk. He is also survived by his companion, Tommy L. Wilson of Virginia Beach.
A chapel service will be conducted at noon Monday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Full Circle AIDS Hospice, Urban League of Norfolk or Jewish Family Services of Norfolk. The family will be at 1411 Westover Ave.
He will be greatly missed and loved by his family and friends, forever.
