Margaret Lillian Dowdy Warren, 83, of the 1000 block of Hobbs Road died Nov. 17, 1994 in Norfolk.
Mrs. Warren was born in Norfolk County. She was a member of Indian River Baptist Church and the widow of Harold C. ``Red'' Warren Sr.
Survivors include a brother, Owen L. Dowdy of Virginia; three daughters, Carol W. Ward of Chesapeake, Frances W. Beacham of Charleston, S.C., and Sandra W. Davis of Virginia Beach; four sons, Harold C. Warren Jr. of Virginia Beach, Paul A. Warren Sr. and Michael K. Warren Sr., both of Chesapeake and Samuel A. Warren of Tampa, Fla.; 36 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David L. Warren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Indian River Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert E. Jordan. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and other times at 1024 Hobbs Road, Virginia Beach.
