Henry Walter Brown Sr., 75, of the 3300 block of Stanford Road, died Nov. 17, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Brown was a native of Litwalton, Va. He was retired from NOB as a general foreman and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Sweethaven Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Brown; two daughters, Bonnie Wyatt of Chesapeake and Deborah Brown of Portsmouth; a son, Henry Walter Brown Jr. of Virginia Beach; a sister, Doris Bowie of Lancaster County, Va.; two brothers, Winston Brown of Seattle, Wash. and Kenneth Brown of Lancaster County; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Loving Funeral Home Chapel, Churchland, by the Rev. Lew Hunter. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will be at the funeral home from 3 to 4 p.m. today. The family suggests memorial contributions to Sweethaven Baptist Church.
