RAYMOND M. SPAUGH

Raymond M. Spaugh, 67, of the 4800 block of Morro Blvd., died Nov. 18, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mr. Spaugh was a native of Charlotte, N.C. He was a printer and owner of Accu-Print Printing Co., Portsmouth, for nine years. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Portsmouth, Churchland Masonic Lodge (NU)276, Driver Chapter (NU)149 Order of the Eastern Star and was a coach for Olive Branch Little League for 30 years. He was named Portsmouth Sportsman of the Year in 1975.

Survivors include his wife, Mamie S. Spaugh; three daughters, Marie S. Hughes of Virginia Beach, Shirley S. Fremd of Portsmouth and Susan S. Davie of Chesapeake; two sons, Daniel G. Spaugh and David R. Spaugh, both of Chesapeake; his mother, Viola F. Spaugh of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren, Danette S. Conner, Catherine S. Brinkley, Elizabeth A. Spaugh, Donna C. Hughes, Charles E. Hughes Jr., Michele L. Spaugh and Kristen L. Davie; four great-grandchildren, Caitlyn E. Conner, W. Zachary Conner, Ronald L. Brinkley III and Darion R. Colon.

A funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday in Loving Funeral Home Chapel, Churchland, by the Rev. Steve Bingham. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk, with Masonic rites. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Community United Methodist Church.
