Ethel Oretha Brinkley, 94, formerly of the 3900 block of Kingman Ave., a homemaker, died Nov. 19, 1994, in Chesapeake Adult Care facility.
Mrs. Brinkley was the widow of Norman Leon Brinkley and a member of Alexander Baptist Church and the church Sonshine Club.
Survivors include three sons, Freddie L. Brinkley of Pasadena, Md., Donnie P. Brinkley of Chesterfield County, Va., and Eddie N. Brinkley of Newport News; a sister, Grace Wiggins of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Allison MacKenzie, Donna Brinkley, Laura Smoot and Joey Brinkley; and four great-grandchildren, Sarah Catalina, Emily Catalina, Connor Smoot and Alexander Catalina.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Alexander Baptist Church by the Rev. Alan G. Moor. Burial will be in Cypress Chapel Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will be at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
