Larry D. Barrow of the 1000 block of Blair St., died Nov. 16, 1994, in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Barrow was born in Portsmouth. He was retired and was an Army veteran.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Barrow and Marcus Barrow, both of Washington, D.C.; his mother, Ella R. Barrow of Portsmouth; five sisters, Nettie Simmons of Maryland and Mary Jones, Gloria Roberts, Drenia Barrow and Theresa Black, all of Portsmouth; four brothers, James Ellis of Norfolk, William Barrow of Maryland and James Barrow and Alonzo Barrow, both of Portsmouth; two aunts, Naomi Pritchard of Washington, D.C., and Lula Mae Rogers of Portsmouth; an uncle, Herman Barrow of Elizabeth City, N.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Curtis E. Edmonds Jr. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Serenity Funeral Home and 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the church. Family and friends will assemble at 1017 Blair St., Portsmouth, at 11:15 a.m. for the processional to the church.
