Minnie G. Hodges, 82, of the 100 block of Talbot Hall Road, died Nov. 19, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Hodges was a native of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She was the widow of Roebuck Hodges and the daughter of the late George and Mary Decker John. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include two sons, Bernie Hodges of Norfolk and Bobby Hodges of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Wadded Monseur of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and Jennie Anna Green of Virginia Beach; a brother, Nabbie G. John of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Kathryn H. Loehr, Bill Hodges and Michael Hodges; and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Fr. Julian B. Goodman. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at their residence. A Christian Wake service will be said at 7 p.m. Monday in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
