Guy Friddell thinks that John Warner is unbeatable (column, Nov. 11). But whoever thought that Tom Foley or Dan Rostenkowski would ever get booted out? No one is unbeatable, especially John Warner, the turncoat of the Republican Party.
Anyone who knows anything about politics knows that a third- party candidate is a spoiler. If it hadn't been for Coleman, North would have won.
Every loyal Republican should dedicate himself to the defeat of John Warner in 1996.
