Willie Herman Riddick Jr., 66, of Route 1, died Sunday night, Nov. 20, 1994, in Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
Mr. Riddick was born in Gates County. The son of the late Willie Herman Sr. and Mrs. Nellie Marie Hobbs Riddick, he was a retired farmer. He was a member of Hobbsville Baptist Church and the Water Swamp Hunt Club.
Survivors include his wife, Lois West Riddick; two daughters, Connie Neofotis of Burlington, N.C., and Daphne Joseph of Columbia, S.C.; one son, W.H. Riddick III of Suffolk; two sisters, Frances R. Stauffer of Suffolk and Sara R. Stallings of Newport News; one brother, Charles J. Riddick of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Riddick Family Cemetery by Dr. Terry Jones and Rev. Bobby Hewitt. Friends may join the family Tuesday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, and other times at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gates County Rescue Squad.
