MOCEL J. MCGUIRE

Mocel Jones McGuire of the 700 block of Hill St., a retired adult home care worker, died Nov. 20, 1994, in her residence.

Mrs. McGuire, a native of Pasquotank County, N.C., was the widow of Mack McGuire. She retired two years ago from Chesapeake Social Service after 20 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Pentecostal Holiness Church, Chesapeake, the Missionary Circle and Usher Board.

Survivors include a son, Vernon Respess of Durham, N.C.; two sisters, Mable Johnson and Geneva Brickhouse, and a brother, Willie Jones, all of Elizabeth City, N.C.; a grandchild, Vernon McGuire of Chesapeake; a niece, Jean Griffin of South Mills, N.C.; and a sister-in-law, Clara Jones of Elizabeth City.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bethlehem Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Anthony Albritton. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
