Walter John Moskal, 65, died Nov. 20, 1994 at Portsmouth Naval Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Moskal was born in Poland on May 11, 1929, and was retired from the United States Navy.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlena A. Moskal of Virginia Beach and Norma M. Hall of Chesapeake; a grandson, Jonathan R. Hall of Chesapeake; a brother, Ben Moskal; and four stepsons, Jack Jung, Jerry Jung, Donald E. McKenzie and Jesse McKenzie.
A memorial service will be held today, Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m. in St. Gregory's Catholic Church on Virginia Beach Blvd.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
