Ernest Gray of the 3100 block of Crestwood Lane, died Nov. 19, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. Gray was born in Rocky Mount, N.C., and moved to Norfolk at an early age. He was a member of New Light Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Gray; two stepdaughters, Pamela and Stephanie of Virginia Beach; four stepsons, Harry and Michael of Tampa, Fla. and Archie and Gregory of Chesapeake; two sisters, Ethel Simms of Virginia Beach and Mable Trapp of Queens, N.Y.; a brother, Essex Gray Jr. of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren; a god-daughter, LaToya Raines of Durham, N.C.; mother-in-law, Mamie Ayers of Virginia Beach; in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
