Turkey may be the main course, but Thanksgiving is shaping up as anything but fowl - at least as far as the weather goes.
Much of the nation will enjoy a break from a series of storms - especially in the western half - that have given winter a head start on piling up the snow.
While chilly weather will be the rule in many areas, umbrellas will be needed in only a few cities.
Here are the forecasts for today and Thursday for many popular destinations and some key airport cities. VIRGINIA/NORTH CAROLINA
