Charlie S. Thomas, 85, of the 200 block of A View Ave., died Nov. 22, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Thomas was born in Alexander County, N.C., and was retired from P.W.C., U.S. Naval Base, Norfolk. He was a member of Ocean View Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Harryette Kellam Thomas; two daughters, Claudia Thomas of Virginia Beach and Dail C. Tyner and son-in-law, George T. Tyner, of Chesapeake; two sisters, Beulah T. Mayberry and Thelma T. Daggenhart, both of Hiddenite, N.C.; two granddaughters, Amanda Tyner and Jennifer Tyner; and a brother-in-law, H. Thomas Kellam.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Ocean View Presbyterian Church by Dr. James E. Carriker II. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence today after 3 p.m. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to Ocean View Presbyterian Church.
