Doris Reid West, 81, of the 900 block of Hayes St., died Nov. 21, 1994, in Sentara Nursing Center.
Mrs. West was born in Winfall, N.C., and was the widow of Russell T. West. She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include three sons, Melvin West, Carlton West and Marvin West; and a brother, William Reid.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in New Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. A wake service will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today. The body will be placed in church at 9:30 a.m. Friday. The family will assemble at 2437 Kennon Ave., Norfolk. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
