Santa's reindeer and sleigh will be at Waterside from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
For no charge, parents who have their own cameras may photograph their children with the sleigh and reindeer.
The reindeer's arrival will be part of the Holly Festival of the Trees sponsored by Norfolk City Union of The King's Daughters.
Parents seeking to impress their children should know that reindeer hair is hollow to provide insulation.
The annual Breakfast with Santa will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at Waterside. Cost is $6 for children, $7 for adults.
Reservations are necessary, at 668-7098.
Part of the money goes to the hospital, which raises about $50,000 each year from the festival.
On Friday and Saturday at a children's activity area at Waterside, children will receive help in writing letters to Santa, making ornaments and doing other things.
The festival also will feature photos with Santa, gingerbread cookie decorating, and special entertainment from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. by CNB
