schedules today in observance of Thanksgiving Day.
City offices, courts, banks and schools
Closed
Garbage Collection
Virginia Beach will have regular collection. Chesapeake will move
collection to Saturday, Norfolk will move collection to Monday and
Suffolk will move collection to Friday. There will be no collection
in Portsmouth.
Recycling Collection
Virginia Beach will have regular collection. There will be no
collection in any other city; collection in all other cities
resumes on Dec. 1.
Postal Service
There will be no regular mail delivery or window service.
ABC Stores
Closed, but will be open on Friday.
Tidewater Regional Transit
Buses will follow a Sunday schedule.
