Bernice Williams Ivey, 95, of the 900 block of Broad St., died Nov. 25, 1994, in Chowan Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility.
A native of Perquimans County, she was a daughter of the late William Myers and Clara Long Williams. She was the wife of the late Hertford Haynes Ivey.
She was a member of the Edenton Baptist Church where she had been active in the H.H. McMillan Circle, the W.M.U., and the Women's Bible Class. Mrs. Ivey worked for many years with the Blair Co. in Lynchburg, Va., as a salesperson.
She is survived by many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Williford-Barham Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Kenneth Word. Burial will follow in the Beaver Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
