ALBERTA C. SOLOMON

Alberta Cone Solomon, 65, a former Chesapeake resident, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 1994, in a Newport News hospital.

She was a native of Nash County, N.C., and the widow of Fred L. Solomon Sr.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan S. Daversa of Coral Springs, Fla.; a son, Fred L. Solomon Jr. of Yorktown, Va.; three sisters, Ida B. Johnson of Escanaba, Mich., and Frazier M. Perry and Rachel Perry, both of Bailey, N.C.; and five grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Homer Peterson, Jr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
