A 20-year-old man died early Friday after he was stabbed by a sailor during a dispute, police said.
The sailor, who serves aboard the carrier George Washington, was taken into custody.
Andreis Orque of the 7500 block of Yorktown St. died at 12:52 a.m., Norfolk police spokesman Larry Hill said.
Gerald Rivera, 20, was arrested and charged in the stabbing, Hill said. Rivera will be arraigned Monday morning.
The dispute, apparently over a woman, occurred in the 1000 block of Meads Road about 12:20 a.m., Hill said.
