Because she went through chemotherapy, she empathizes with others who take that treatment.

``The experience gave me great respect for anyone having radiation treatments or chemotherapy,'' Post said. ``I had a lot of side effects, including loss of hair.''

There was never any loss of love and care. Post has been offering both for almost a decade.

1. The comedian known as The Perfect Fool, who won his Emmy for a dramatic role, was Ed Wynn. His son, Keenan Wynn, was a respected character actor for many years.

2. The nation's weightiest president was William Howard Taft. On his inauguration date, March 4, 1909, he tipped - overtipped, actually - the scales at 332 pounds.

3. The Hollywood stars who both had boats named Santana were Ray Milland and Humphrey Bogart. Bogie bought his craft from Dick Powell.

4. The `colorful' seas are the Black, Red, White and Yellow.

5. James Cagney portrayed George M. Cohan in ``Yankee Doodle Dandy.'' Rosemary DeCamp played his mother. The makeup man played a large part in that portrayal since she was actually 14 years younger than the star. ILLUSTRATION: Peggy Post still works as an operating room nurse at Obici.
