Seatack Elementary School and Central Fidelity Bank on Laskin Road, have formed a new partnership in education. The bank now operates a mini-bank weekly where students can open a savings account. Students are encouraged to deposit, save and learn about the banking system.
Seatack recently held SCA elections and the new officers are: Shikena Nichols, president; Alisha Johnson, vice president; Stephanie Spirrison, secretary; Javana Snowden, treasurer; and William Bungy, recorder.
Also, students are expanding their linguistic skills weekly at a newly formed beginning Spanish class. John Bova, a Spanish teacher at First Colonial High School, is offering this after-school program. by CNB
