Emily Goodman, of the 4500 block of Valley Stream, died Nov. 21, 1994.
She was born in Old Trapp, N.C., and was a native of Virginia Beach. She was a member of New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, and was on the Usher Board.
She is survived by one daughter, Shiela Hannah of Millington, Tenn.; four sons, William Goodman of Norfolk, Eddie Goodman of Norfolk, Thomas Holsey of Virginia Beach, and David Holsey of Virginia Beach; a step-son, James Louis of Allentown, Pa.; two sisters, Ella Holley of Virginia Beach and Elsie Humphries of Virginia Beach; two brothers, James Holsey and Floyd Holsey, both of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday in New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is handling the arrangements.
