Mary Vinson Harvey Watts, 84, of the 12800 block of Staton Court, died Nov. 25, 1994, in her home.
She was a native of Portsmouth and was the widow of Oscar D. Watts. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Y. Harvey Jennings of Suffolk and Joan F. Harvey Shaw of Upper Marlboro, Md.; two sons, Frank W. Harvey Jr. of Portsmouth and Preston Michael Watts of Richmond; one sister, Rebecca V. Morgan of Portsmouth; one brother, John S. Vinson Sr. of Portsmouth; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, including Delores Lucas; nephews, cousins, sons-in-law, Willie Shaw and James W. Jennings Jr.; and other in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph L. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be at Corprew Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Monday. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
