David Berkley Bartlett, 47, an Arlington resident who had been a graphic artist with the Washington Times newspaper since 1984, died Nov. 25, at George Washington University Hospital. He had AIDS.
Mr. Bartlett, a Pennsylvania native, graduated from Athens College in Alabama before moving here in 1971. He was a mortgage banker with Hamilton Mortgage Co. in Arlington before joining the Times. He was a member of St. Clement's Episcopal Church in Arlington. He had done volunteer work with the National Gallery of Art.
Survivors include his mother, Marie Bartlett of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, Nov. 27, at the Church of St. Clement in Alexandria, Va. Interment was private.
