Charles Jacob Oleynik, 72, of Virginia Beach, died Nov. 26, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Oleynik was a native of Bridgeport, Conn. He was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. He was a master union carpenter for over 52 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary C. Oleynik of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Mary O. Butler of Norfolk; a son, James C. Oleynik of Virginia Beach; and three granddaughters, Cathy, Lindsey and Shannon Butler, all of Norfolk.
A chapel service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1994, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Michael Breslin. Burial will be Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, Virginia Beach. There will be a wake service in the funeral home today at 7 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Star of the Sea Catholic Church Building Fund, 1404 Pacific Ave., Virginia Beach, Va. or the American Cancer Society.
