Mary Virginia Peebles, 80, of Virginia Beach, died Nov. 25, 1994, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Peebles was a native of St. Louis, Mo. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach. She was a volunteer at Virginia Beach General Hospital for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Byron E. Peebles of Chesapeake; a daughter, Mollie J. Wyatt of Belton, Mo.; three sons, William E. Peebles of Virginia Beach, Jack E. Peebles of Hopkington, Mass. and Richard T. Peebles of Mount Laurel, N.J.; two sisters, Wilma Hoener of St. Louis, Mo. and Georgia Steimson of St. Louis, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1994, at First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach by Dr. J. Scottie Griffin. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach Building Fund.
