I disagree with Lola Carl (letter, Nov. 17), who was dissatisfied because your papers did not endorse a candidate in the November election.
You made the correct decision.
Americans live in a democracy, which is defined as government by the people, not government by the press.
I don't want someone to tell me how to vote. I can read, listen and make up my own mind. Then, if I am wrong, I cannot blame anyone else - not even your newspapers.
