MARGUERITE W. GWALTNEY

Marguerite Walden Gwaltney, 89, of Orbit Road, died Monday, Nov. 28, 1994, in her residence.

Mrs. Gwaltney, a native of King and Queen County, Va., was a homemaker and a member of Mill Swamp Baptist Church, Ivor. She was the widow of Stanley Lane Gwaltney.

Survivors include five daughters, Dorothy G. Gwaltney and Edith G. Bill, both of Windsor, Margaret Ann Gwaltney of Ashland, Nancy G. Gillette of Odenton, Md., and Linda G. Griffin of Smithfield; a sister, Martha Walden of Gloucester; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Smithfield, with the Rev. Robert F. Cofield Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Mill Swamp Church Cemetery, Ivor. The family will receive friends at the residence, 19501 Orbit Road, Windsor, and suggest memorial donations may be made to the Isle of Wight Academy Building Fund, P.O. Box 105, Isle of Wight, Va. 23397.
