Linda Catherine Hicks, 50, of the 4600 block of Magnolia Drive, died Nov. 28, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Hicks was born in Portsmouth.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Patrick ``Pat'' Hicks; two daughters, Sharon Beaty of Virginia Beach and Darlene Colson of Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Marvin David Beaty of Illinois; her father, Herbert Cherry; Dad, William Eugene Bland Sr. of Portsmouth; three brothers, Norman Cherry of Washington, D.C., Billy Bland Jr. of South Mills, N.C., and Wesley Bland of Louisa, Va.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Temple Grove Ministries Church at 3972 S. Military Highway, Chesapeake, by the Rev. John A. McDonald. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513.
