Lucy Mae Price, formerly of the 1200 block of Hanson Ave., died Monday, Nov. 28, 1994, in DePaul Medical Center.
Mrs. Price was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of the late Pete and Mary Davis Godfrey. She had retired from the Norfolk Public Schools after 12 years. She was a member of St. Mark Community Church where she was a faithful member until her health prevented her from attending regularly.
Survivors include her husband, William H. Herman Price Sr.; two sons, William H. Price Sr. and Herman Price Jr.; a sister, Ella Timberlake; a brother, Robert Godfrey; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at noon Friday in Riddick Funeral Service, 1225 Norview Ave., Norfolk. Viewing will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and at other times at 1711 Blair Ave. the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Price Jr.
