A headline in Tuesday's MetroNews section incorrectly said that a
man was held in his brother's killing. The brother was shot but is
recovering. Paul B. Hinkle has been charged with capital murder in
the death of his brother's girlfriend and with malicious assault in
the shooting of his brother.
The photo with a People column item Tuesday about actress
Jennifer Jason Leigh was not Leigh; it was actress Bridget Fonda.
Saturday's People column contained errors. George Takei played
Mr. Sulu in the orginal ``Star Trek'' TV series, and Walter Koenig
played Pavel Chekov. Also, former gymnast Nadia Comaneci's name was
misspelled.
The Friends School Book Fair will be held today and Thursday,
from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Friends Meeting House, 1537 Laskin
Road, Virginia Beach. Information with a Daily Break story Tuesday
gave a wrong date. The book fair continues Friday until 9 p.m. and
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The remodeled Blockbuster Music store at Wards Corner in Norfolk
will have videos for sale, though no video rentals. A story in
Saturday's Daily Break erroneously said the store would have music
only.
