A man charged with the December 1992 slaying of three people in the Oakwood section pleaded guilty Tuesday to three counts of second-degree murder in a plea agreement.
Roderick Jordan, 23, was originally charged with three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of use of a firearm in the Dec. 15, 1992, execution-style murders of Frank C. Ridley Jr., Chauncy C. Johnson and Denita Moore.
Jordan was sentenced to 10 years on each of the second-degree murder charges, all to run concurrently. The gun charges were deferred as part of the plea.
In December 1993, a jury found Jordan's co-defendant, Troy Johnson, guilty of three counts of first-degree murder and three firearms charges. He was sentenced to the three life terms plus 10 years.
The killings were drug-related, police said. All three victims were shot once in the head.
