LYNN RUEHLMANN, WHO told stories to more than 10,000 schoolchildren last year, will be performing for the youngsters again Dec. 17, at the Suffolk Museum.
Her vehicle this time will be ``On Holiday Around the World.''
Since this is the season, subjects will include Christmas and Hanukkah folklore, and religious and secular tales.
During her storytelling, Ruehlmann will try to stimulate young imaginations and attempt to focus attention with a variety of techniques, such as paper cutting and folding.
Listeners are further involved by participating in songs and story refrains.
Ruehlmann is an old hand at storytelling. Add to that many years of experience in dramas, comedies and musicals with performances in more than 60 plays, including appearances in every professional Hampton Roads theater.
A Norfolk resident, she won the 1991 Port Folio Award for Best Actress in a comedy.
Last year Ruehlmann's stages, in additon to classrooms, have been auditoriums, churches, radio stations and libraries.
