SUFFOLK CRIME REPORT

The crimes listed here were reported to the Suffolk Police Department. Because they are initial reports, they are allegations only and may or may not have resulted in criminal charges.

DISTRICT A

Garage Burglary: 2700 block Country Club Drive, Nov. 19, someone removed a Diehard electric motor valued at $225, a Diehard 0.5 horsepower electric fishing motor valued at $50, a Craftsman power tool and a Radio Shack soldering iron valued at $10.

Grand Larceny: 2700 block South Nansemond Drive, Nov. 20, a woman said a man removed $300 from the glove compartment of her truck.

Residential Breaking and Entering: 6000 block College Drive, Nov. 20, someone kicked open the front door; taking nothing, but rumpling the bed and searching a tool bag.

DISTRICT B

Burglary: 1900 block Nansemond Parkway, Nov. 19, someone kicked in the door and took four marble-topped tables valued at $400, a 19-inch Zenith color television with a remote control valued at $250, a television/VCR combination set valued at $450 and a washing machine valued at $300.

DISTRICT C

Hit and Run: West Washington and Broad streets, Nov. 21, a vehicle moved over for a fire engine, then moved back into the traffic lane, struck the fire engine and left the scene.

DISTRICT D

Petty Larceny: 1100 block Myrtle Street, Nov. 19, someone removed two Firestone Steeltex tires, valued at $150, from the driver's side of a 1983 Ford pick-up truck.

Grand Larceny: Knight Street, Nov. 19, someone removed a 1980 white 4-door Pontiac without permission.

Arson: 1500 block East Washington Street, Nov. 20, someone set fire to a Coca Cola machine using lighter fluid, resulting in $4,000 damage.

Throwing a Missile at an Occupied Dwelling: 100 block Pinner Street, Nov. 20, a large rock was thrown through the closed window. by CNB
