Charles Edward Emmerson, 86, died Nov. 27, 1994, in Highland.
He was born at the Emmerson farm in Osborne, Kan. March 9, 1908. He attended grade school and high school in Osborne and completed junior college in Garden City, Kan. He became a member of the Methodist Church in Osborne while he was in high school and remained a Methodist all his life. He was married Sept. 17, 1939 to Freida Alice Beals at the University Methodist Church in Winfield, Kan. He spent his life in sales work and the last 30 years of his employment were with the United States Pumice Co. & Featherrock, Inc. of Los Angeles, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Freida; daughters, Robert and Clio; a granddaughter, Kristina Shull; and two great-grandchildren, Joseph and Beverly.
Memorial services were held in Highland, Utah with burial to follow in Kansas. Anderson & Sons Mortuary, American Fork, Utah, is handling arrangements.
