Chief Warrant Officer Fernando ``Vern'' O. Garcia, USN (Ret.), 78, died Nov. 29, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred O. Garcia; two daughters, Charlene Garcia of Virginia Beach and Christie Davis of Bellevue, Wash.; and two granddaughters.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Father Paschal N. Kniep. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to a charity of one's choice.
