TWO SCHOOLS MAKE IT TO STATE SEMIFINALS

Saturday afternoon, Chesapeake will send two high school football teams to the state semifinals. Last week, Indian River beat the Kempsville Chiefs to become the Division 5 champ and Deep Creek beat the Hampton Crabbers in the Division 6 finals. Both games are at 1:30 p.m. Indian River's Braves will take on George Washington-Danville at Great Bridge and Deep Creek's Hornets will travel to Lynchburg to play E.C. Glass.
